Laser liposuction is an extremely efficient procedure; only one session is needed to contour your body. The laser is used to break up the fat and make it easier to remove. It also helps to create smoother and more uniform results. Once the fat has been removed, it won't return, assuming you maintain your weight through a healthy diet and exercise. Consulting with a board-certified dermatologist will let you find out if you are a good candidate for this very effective and permanent body-contouring procedure.
Thanks for the questions, the limit of fat removal in the united states is 5L so it depends on how much fat is anticipated to be removed and if you want to have it done under general anesthesia or local only
Thank you for this wonderful question! Laser-assisted liposuction is designed to be a one-time treatment. The fat cells are permanently removed with the contour result and minimal skin tightening progressing over the next 3-6 months. It is important to understand that liposuction is not an alternative to a healthy diet and exercise rather a compliment to those stubborn small areas that have not responded as well. I am always very careful to discuss with my patients the importance of a stable weight within 10-15% of the goal weight as we are contouring for where they are now not where they wish to be. Good communication and informative consultations are extremely beneficial when it comes to deciding on a body contouring treatment. Do not be afraid to ask questions! I provide a personal concierge for my patients; she is available at any time to discuss possible treatments and scheduling even before the initial consultation is scheduled. I do hope you have found this information helpful and I wish you luck!
Liposuction either by itself or with added laser is a one time procedure. The fat is removed with the liposuction and the Laser tightens the skin progressively over several months. Only in cases of massive overweight the procedure has to be scheduled in more than one session.
Laser lipo is typically a one-time procedure. However, the full answer is that it is totally dependent on your body type and how much volume is in each area. If you want to treat multiple body areas, then you will likely require additional surgical sessions. If any one of the areas has a particularly large volume of fat, then you might require a susbsequent follow-up or touch-up session to obtain a better result, which is usually done no sooner than 4-6 months from your initial procedure. With the local anesthetic (tumescent) that we use, there is a limit that can be given in any one procedure, so that may limit the amount of area that can be addressed. You should have a consultation with a cosmetic specialist.
Laser Lipo is a one time treatment. The fat cells are removed permanently. The laser skin tightening continues for 3 - 6 months.
Laser lipo is typically done under local anesthesia. Since you're plastic surgeon can typically only do so much at one session since its related to the amount of local anesthesia that he can give you, it limits your treatment sessions. Too much local anesthesia can be toxic to your body. Your plastic surgeon knows this. So you have to wait a minimum of 24 hours for the local anesthesia medication ( lidocaine)( before you're next session. Good luck
Only one session is required with laser liposuction. This procedure will remove fat from your target areas, however do check with surgeon who performs your procedure as the amount of fat each office is allowed to remove may vary.Have included a video of one of our procedures as well.
