So far I had an excellent experience with Dr. Mary. I went to see her because my eyelids were drooping (ptosis) and also needed an eye exam. Dr. Mary recommended ptosis surgery (mullerectomy) and upper blepharoplasty and a brow lift. I agreed to do all of those procedures under local anesthetic in her office. The surgery took about two hours (I think) and her staff and Dr. Mary were very sweet and took great care of me. I highly recommend her for these procedures, I can actually see my eyes again!
Without a doubt Pritiskin is the BEST skin care I've ever received. Dr. Mary is passionate, experienced, and a great listener. I have never left the office with less than perfect results. Recommended!
Doctor Mary is fantastic. I have been a client for 10 years and have had numerous procedures (Bellafil, Botox, Halo, and fillers) and my face looks natural and "untouched." I'm in my fifties-but most people assume I'm around 40. Dr. Mary is very friendly and calm (I was very nervous when I first went to her, but she put me at ease) and she explains things clearly (the benefits of a procedure, how long it will last, cost/benefits, and any downsides.) Dr. Mary's office staff is also very pleasant. I look forward to my appointments :)
She really erred in my eye procedure -- leaving a noticeable scar and doing it incorrectly, as another, better doctor told me. She's sloppy and not very proficient. There are much more capable doctors out there.
Laser Lipo is a one time treatment. The fat cells are removed permanently. The laser skin tightening continues for 3 - 6 months.
I would assume that you are within the five-seven day healing period. It is normal to see what may appear to be holes beginning on the second day after treatment. These are known as "mends" -- microscopic epithelial necrotic debris. This is the damaged tissue being expelled from deep within your tissue. New collagen and elastin is being formed beneath the skin surface. The actual skin surface heals very quickly after treatment.
As an eye specialist, I address these problems daily. The hollow is easily corrected with fillers. The remaining question is if there is excess pigment in the skin in that region. If there is, we have very specialized lasers to correct that as well.
As an oculoplastic surgeon, I specialize in repair of this condition. The term for this problem is Ptosis. For small deviations, a very simple out patient surgery performed on the undersurface of the lid, can correct the condition with very minimal downtime and no scarring.
When considering non-invasive options for skin tightening, we recommend two modalities: 1. Laser lipolysis -- this procedure employs a tiny laser that is inserted under the skin to first melt fat and then tighten skin. 2. Radiofrequency/ultrasound therapy -- the Exilis Ultra employs both technologies applied to the surface of the skin in a series of three to four treatments These technologies can be used alone or in conjunction with each other and are very effective.
