I had a breast augmentation approximately one year ago. I’m 5’10 145lbs and I got silicone 345cc R and 330 L moderate plus profile under the muscle. Does this look like lateral displacement when I’m lying down? I’m wondering if it’s because the implants are too small for my frame.
Answer: Implants A front view standing photo would be very helpful., However, all breasts do fall to the sides when laying down. if you do not like this, your lateral pockets can be tightened. I do not suggest going larger because your frame and tissue will not support heavy implants. Implants behind the muscle do get pushed to the sides when laying down.

Answer: This is normal Yes, you have lateral displacement. Your implants were placed behind the muscle and when the muscle contracts the implants extrude inferiorly and laterally. This is a normal event after implants have been placed. It is not because the implants are too small. Larger implants would make the situation even worse. If you want to correct this, you will need to reinforce the implant pockets laterally. Sometimes doctors use mesh or sutures. The pockets needs to be dissected more medially. You will need to reposition the nipple-areola complex more medial as well.
