Mastopexy/ augment- color of my areola is now light. Any suggestions?

It almost blends in with my surrounding skin. If I get aerola tatoo to make it darker will it be streaky or will it look natural

I am not sure why this occurred, but if it bothers you, tattoo of the areaola works well and can look quite natural. This is a common practice after breast reconstruction. Ask your surgeon for advice.

If the areola lost some color due to healing after mastopexy cosmetic tattooing is a possibility. Quality of the outcome will be completely reliant on the skills of the technician that performs the procedure.

Thank you for your question. It is possible to get a nipple tattoo that looks very natural. Tattoo artists can really do some amazing work. Look at vinniemyers.com and click on the picture of Vinnie for examples of what is possible. The pictures on his site are of women having nipple tattooing following breast reconstruction. This will give you an idea of what is possible. Discuss this with your surgeon, they may know someone locally who can help you. Good luck.
