Is there a way to dissolve Juvederm in the lips @ home? My doc says to wait out the 6 months but I can't! My lip looks horrible!

There isn't an in home option to dissolve fillers. However, there is no need to wait 6 months. Your swelling should be gone by 1-2 weeks following injection. At that point any excess filler can be removed with hyaluronidase. If your injector isn't willing to do this you should definitely seek a second opinion. Juvederm is dissolved using an enzyme called Hyaluronidase. This should only be available in physician's offices and performed by the physician. There is no other way to dissolve the Juvederm other than letting it dissolve on its own with time and other methods should not be tried at home. I would not wait 6 months. If after 2 weeks you are still not happy then you should have the filler dissolved. If your physician does not do it, or if you don't feel comfortable with him then you should find an experienced physician injector in your area who will be able to dissolve it for you. For future reference, anyone who injects fillers should also be able to reverse it and deal with complications. Best of luck to you.

If it is not much better by 14 days, see another doctor who is experience with hyaluronidase injections. There is no reason you need to wait 6 months if it looks bad. I usually recommend waiting a full two weeks after injections to let swelling subside before dissolving.
