Hello doctors, I had rhinoplasty like 9 months ago and my surgeon decided to trim my alar with out discussing it before surgery (which I wouldn't have agreed on). I don't like it and I don't appreciate what my doctor did. Everything is healing well but, is there anyway to add the trimmed tissue back? like opening the alar and adding skin from the ear? I really want my nostrils to be wider like before

Narrow nostrils can be widened in a variety ways depending on what the nostrils look like. You may want to post or e-mail your nose pictures or consult some in person who has sufficient experience doing this type of surgery.

Nostrils that have been over narrowed may be widened.  Many techniques exist from simple Z-plasty to composite grafts from the ear.  Please seek out a surgeon who is qualified and has done complex revision rhinoplasty
