I have a 1 year old who is still nursing and I made an appointment to get Juvederm ultra plus as a lip filler. I have had lidocaine without epinephrine and that’s is ok, but I’m not sure if there’s epi in the injection or if the other ingredients are safe.

Answer: Filler while breastfeeding Thank you for your question. Although there is no documented research regarding complications of injectables during pregnancy and breastfeeding, my advice is to avoid these elective procedures under these circumstances. Best of luck.

Answer: Fillers while breast feeding Hi naylime,Our body makeup is composed with hyaluronic acids, but since there has been no clinical studies on pregnant women or women that are breast feeding, fillers are typically not performed under these circumstances. Due to the topical lidocaine used to anesthetize the area, and the lidocaine in the products used it could be transferred through the milk or to the fetus in utero. Consulting with your Aesthetic provider is always a great way to start a timeline for your desired treatment plan.
