Although still very popular, Arnica Montana pills or cream is a sham, along with all homeopathic 'medicines'. Nothing that is topically applied can affect bruising. But don't worry, you are likely not going to bruise much.

Sculptra doesn't tend to bruise as much as some of the other fillers. However, to avoid bruising I would recommend taking Arnica a few days before your procedure and massaging with an Arnica cream.  Also, discontinuing any blood thinners or vitamins for one week before your injections will minimize any bruising.  Please consult an expert in Sculptra for the best cosmetic results. Once Sculptra has been injected into your face, you probably should not massage it for at least a few days. Massages will neither help nor prevent formation of bruising. Bruising should be extremely minimal to nonexistent when sculptra is being injected because a cannula should be used every time. I hope it helps and good luck from New York City
