I've visited two doctors for lip augmentation. The first time the Nurse injector who does all the offices injections explained to me there was no difference between Juvederm Ultra Plus and Vollure, except duration. Otherwise they look the same. The second, the plastic surgeon I visited said that Vollure was different from Juvederm and that it doesn't give the type of volume I was seeking.... Which is it? What am I looking for, for the Instagram pout?

Answer: Lip Augmentation Thank you for your question - Vollure and Juvederm Ultra Plus are very different fillers. They are both hyaluronic acid fillers, but Juvederm Ultra Plus is far more "plumping" than Vollure. Vollure gives more natural results. If you are looking for maximum plumping, I would recommend Ultra Plus. Vollure is longer lasting, but much more subtle.

Answer: Lip Goal Product Hi. It's hard to tell how many syringes of product you will need as you have not uploaded a picture of your lips in comparison to the goal picture. Juvederm Ultra Plus is a harder substance that will provide a bit more volume but also create a very high risk for lumps and bumps. I would highly recommend you treat with Vollure which is the longer lasting, softer, smoother, less risk of bumps product for the lips. The safest choice is to go with Vollure allow it to settle for two weeks and return if you would want more volume with a second syringe.
