Are you not supposed to massage Juvederm Vollure?

Thank you for sharing your excellent question.  If the treatment is done well, and there are no concerns of lumps there is no reason to need to massage Vollure.  That said, if a sizeable lump develops during the injections then gradual manipulation of the material should be done to try and prevent it from persisting in your long-term results.  Hope this helps.

Hi. It's really up to the provider if they feel you need to massage the area. In general the Allergan line of fillers do not need to be massaged as much as other brands, however, the injector may feel otherwise depending on how the area filled and which area is being treated. Thank you for your question.  Allergan's new vycross fillers typically don't require massage.  If there are areas that need "evening out" massage can be done which is very effective.  When place correctly massage shouldn't be needed.  

Hi,With the newer Allergan fillers, there is minimal need to massage lips since the products are very soft.  However, if there is a particular persistent firm area, gentle massage can smooth it out quite easily.Warmly,Dr. Liu
