Hello, I want to get lip filler. I was just curious if it always works, I want to try hyaluron. Since I read that botox sometimes doesn't work (nonresponder or so) I wanted to know if hyaluron in lips sometimes doesn't work. Thanks in advance
Answer: Filler HA filler is a product that is used to add volume to the area injected. It can give beautiful, natural results when used to enhance the lips. The key is to select an experienced injector who will inject the correct amount to the right areas. Talk about what you want and don't want from treatment. Swelling is common after the treatment and resolves usually within 5-7 days, but may take up to 14 days for some patients.

Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Lip filler Hello, thank you for your question! Lip filler is a hyaluronic acid substance that will plump up areas of volume loss. It will always work, however, every patient is different and one person may need more filler than another in order to see improvement. I recommend an in person assessment with your local expert injector. They'll determine how much product you'll need to achieve your desired result.

Answer: Lip fillers Dear jenider12, I perform a lot of lip injections with fillers such as juvederm and it works great. Many times I need to put more in one side than the other to attempt to even out the vermillion border (The red line of the lip). This helps provide more symmetry at times. For patients looking for a more long lasting result, I recommend fat grafting. That is, using your own bodies fat to make your lips naturally look more shapely. The bonus is that the results last many many years. In general, I avoid using permanent prosthesis because I find that the lips are such dynamic and sensitive structures, the end result is not natural. Answer: Lip filler is effective when administered by a skilled provider Thank you for your question! When performed by an experienced provider, lip filler can effectively add volume, correct unevenness, and even smooth out lip lines and wrinkles. In fact, this is one of the most effective options for lip augmentation. Botox isn’t typically used for lip augmentation, unless you undergo a “Botox lip flip.” A Botox lip flip works by relaxing the muscles around the mouth to a point that allows the lips to flip outward, providing the appearance of fuller lips. A trained professional will be able to assess your aesthetic goals and concerns in order to determine which treatment is ideal for you.
