I work in an office environment so will not be able to wear a hat. How many days after surgery could I apply some sort of cover cream to the donor area that might allow me to return to the office a few days earlier? Thanks!

It is normal to lose transplanted hairs weeks after surgery. It may take 6 to 12 months to see new hairs grow out. It is not clear what is the significance of the color of your "bulbs". If you are concerned, contact your doctor for a follow up exam.
