My transplanted hair shedding with black bulb. Is that normal?

I had a hair transplant 3 weeks ago. My doctor said that transplanted hair will gradually shed in 1 or 2 months. But what worries me is that shedded hair have small bents or bulbs . is that normal

You can have multiple hair transplant surgeries, but you need to coordinate your plan with your doctor.

Dear padgolThanks for the question. Typically, it's best to avoid consuming alcoholic beverages for at least 48 hours after surgery. Even if you do consume alcohol, be sure to go easy. I wish you all the best.

It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results.  Some may see hairs growing 3 months after the surgery.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.

5000 grafts seem like an extreme amount of harvesting as it shows on the photos you provide.  Based on Dr. Rassman's article it would seem it is over harvested.

Facial hair growth is a genetic trait.  If you have very little facial hair there isn't much you can do to increase the growth.  L-lysine is not a DHT blocker.

It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results.  If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor.  Signs of a successful transplant is when you see the results and you are happy with the results in 6 to 12 months.  There isn't much you can tell in 14 days.
