I am almost 4 week post transplant and im not sure if my hairs have shed or been damaged. I see alot of surgeons say they will grow around 3 months after. What im asking is is it 3 months after the actual transplant or 3 months after the hairs have shed?

5000 grafts seem like an extreme amount of harvesting as it shows on the photos you provide. Based on Dr. Rassman's article it would seem it is over harvested.
Facial hair growth is a genetic trait. If you have very little facial hair there isn't much you can do to increase the growth. L-lysine is not a DHT blocker.
It can take 6 to 12 months after surgery to see results. If you are concerned it is best to contact your doctor. Signs of a successful transplant is when you see the results and you are happy with the results in 6 to 12 months. There isn't much you can tell in 14 days.
