Damaged lips while shaving and the color is not returning (Photo)

Two months ago, while shaving, I managed to shave into my upper lip take off some of the redness of my top lip. I have put vasaline on my lips twice daily for the past two months in an attempt to help the redness of my lips come back but it has not worked. The center of my lips has a large white spot from where the razor hit, as well as the sides of my upper lip were also scrapped by the razor and have caused them to look distorted. Is there any topical treatment to help bring the color back?
