Would 30 units of Dysport help reduce forehead lines?

Generally speaking, 30U for the forehead is a moderate amount of units. The forehead muscle is the only brow elevator in your face so it's always best to be conservative when treating this muscle as over-treatment may cause heaviness or brow ptosis.Hope this helps!

The dose depends on factors such as your age, severity of wrinkles, muscle strength, facial symmetry and your personal goals. If placed appropriately, 30 units of Dysport in the forehead (clinically known as the frontalis) will generally improve existing wrinkles. However, in some cases up to 60 units are needed for one treatment. It is very common to also treat the muscles (corrugators and glabella) that create lines between the eyebrows when treating the frontalis. This area is usually injected with 36-48 units. It is important to consult with an experienced injector to create a unique plan for your desired results, and to provide you with a safe and effective treatment.

The administration of botox/dysport is a highly technical procedure. There are so many factors to consider to determine if you are a good candidate for it, best neurotoxin to use, the right amount, injection technique, etc. Please contact a qualified provider or a board-certified physician with extensive experience in these procedures.
