I am told through pics that it would be recommended for me to do the lipo in conjunction with renuvion. I've read some scary things about renuvion. I wonder oneslry if it's worth the risk at this point. I want to address the area so badly but one office I've inquired with will not do it because they don't feel I'll have a good result without it. Is renuvion a common add on to the procedure? Have you seen positive results with it?

Answer: Chin lipo + Renuvion Hello, thanks for your question and photos. You are a candidate for Chin Liposuction. The procedure consists of inserting tiny cannulas that will extract the fat in the area. With J-Plasma/Renuvion, you will have tightened skin with non-visible scars. Liposuction will help you to get rid of the double chin. Consult a board-certified plastic surgeon for a physical exam. Good luck!

Answer: Chin liposuction... From the limited photographs, you have extensive fat deposits in the neck located both above and below the platysma muscle in the neck. Liposuction alone will only improve the fat deposits above the muscle which will be ineffective. You're going to need a neck lift procedure to remove the significant fat compartments below the muscle which also includes a platysma-plasty to significantly improve the jawline in addition to liposuction to remove the fat deposits above the muscle. Your BMI should be less than 30 before considering this surgical procedure.
