Chin lip with renuvion - is it a common add-on & have you seen positive results? (Photos)

Question

I am told through pics that it would be recommended for me to do the lipo in conjunction with renuvion. I've read some scary things about renuvion. I wonder oneslry if it's worth the risk at this point. I want to address the area so badly but one office I've inquired with will not do it because they don't feel I'll have a good result without it. Is renuvion a common add on to the procedure? Have you seen positive results with it?

Tough to see from the limited photos and the angles they are at. You have quite a bit of submental fat, and it looks like some skin laxity as well. You should be seen in person, but may be a candidate for submental liposuction and skin tightening. When doing this, I do not recommend using renuvion for the skin tightening. I personally use facetite and morpheus, which use radiofrequency energy to tighten the skin and I find to be more predictable and safer than renuvion/J plasma.

Hello, thanks for your question and photos. You are a candidate for Chin Liposuction. The procedure consists of inserting tiny cannulas that will extract the fat in the area. With J-Plasma/Renuvion, you will have tightened skin with non-visible scars. Liposuction will help you to get rid of the double chin. Consult a board-certified plastic surgeon for a physical exam. From the limited photographs, you have extensive fat deposits in the neck located both above and below the platysma muscle in the neck. Liposuction alone will only improve the fat deposits above the muscle which will be ineffective.  You're going to need a neck lift procedure to remove the significant fat compartments below the muscle which also includes a platysma-plasty to significantly improve the jawline in addition to liposuction to remove the fat deposits above the muscle. Your BMI should be less than 30 before considering this surgical procedure.

The most important valuable is always who does the procedure. In other words your goal is to find the most talented and experienced surgeon.
This Trump‘s the equipment used every time 100%.
If something was clearly superior then all plastic surgeons would be using them.
I personally used Renuvion after purchasing the device for about a year. I literally saw no skin tightening and have since sold the device.
I recommend having multiple in person consultations and avoiding virtual consultations whenever possible.
During in person consultations ask each provider to show their entire collection of chin and neck liposuction results. Ask them especially to show pictures who have similar characteristics to your own. an experienced provider should have no difficulty showing you at least 40 or more sets of the before and after pictures for this commonly done procedure. Haily experience providers will have hundreds of before and after pictures.
The goal is to see what average results look like not what the best results look like during the providers career which is most likely what they will show you as example or sample pictures.
This is why you need to be an advocate for yourself and push the provider to open up the portfolio and show you as many pictures as they’re willing to.
If someone claims to have done the procedure several hundred times and they should have no problem showing you 50 sets of before and after pictures.
Focus on finding the most talented and experienced surgeon and you’ll get the best assessment and quality outcome.
The appearance of your jawline and neck is made up by various tissues and this includes bone structure, subcutaneous fat, skin laxity and laxity of the underlying platysma muscle etc.
Treating one out of multiple variables will give a partial improvement.
