i am a female looking to get liposuction plastic surgery to remove fat from under my chin. What's the average price of chin liposuction, or at least the cost range?
Answer: Cost for chin liposuction
Cost will vary depending on many factors.... first of all it differs depending on if a board certified plastic surgeon is performing the surgery or not. Also, if the surgery is performed in a hospital based operating room vs. an office setting, if a board certified anesthesiologist is involved vs. a nurse (or sometimes performing procedures under local anesthesia), etc. Please be careful when doing your research to make sure your surgeon is properly trained and has experience in this procedure.
A range in my practice would be $2500-$4500.
Please don't "shop around" for the cheapest price - look for a surgeon who has experience and can show you examples. Also, safety should be your TOP PRIORITY!
Good Luck

Answer: Chin implant cost Cost factors vary significantly for a number of good reasons: Prices vary greatly because the surgery itself encompasses a wide range of techniques that can be performed to different extents. My recommendation is to first find the most qualified surgeons where you want the surgery performed that are board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery you trust, then compare prices between them. See the below link on suggestions on how to find the most qualified plastic surgeon for your procedure. General Factors that influence the price of plastic surgery include: 1. Location - Will it be performed in a hospital with an overnight stay, an independent out- patient facility or a doctor’s office? Geographical location also has a significant influence. RealSelf has average charges for most areas of the USA. 2. Type of Anesthesia - local, IV sedation or General Anesthesia? Will a board certified anesthesiologist, nurse anesthetist, or an RN be used? 3. Experience and training of your surgeon. The best and longest trained is most often a plastic surgeon board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery 4. Length and Complexity of Surgery - how difficult will your surgery be and how long it will take, etc. Will other complementary procedures also be also performed during the same surgery?

Answer: Fat in the right places We charge 2,500 $. That includes all fees, anesthesia, preops and post ops. This is probably one of my favorite procedures as it results in the most happy patients. In most people with this issue this fat is genetic and just sticks around no matter what kind of diet or exercise program you try. Good for plastic surgeons but bad for patients haha. Hope this helps. Best of luck, DrC

Answer: Liposuction for chin area Thank you for your question. Cost is typically determined by amount of time required to perform the procedure, as well as specific facility costs. Following an in-person consultation with an experienced provider, a patient-care coordinator can review specific financial information related to the selected treatment plan.
