Am I a candidate for rhinoplasty to straighten nose, define tip & thin bridge? (Photos)

The bridge can be narrowed and the tip redefined for a less bulbous appearance. Straightening the nose can also be achieved with grafts, struts, or a septorhinoplasty procedure to correct a deviated septum.

I see the bump on the bridge. And that the tip is more prominent than it needs to be. Can't really tell from these photos, but often, when we're lowering a bump on the bridge and narrowing a tip, it's important to elevate the tip a bit as well. We'd tell that from profile views and a better variety of 3/4 views.
How *much* to elevate the tip, or lower a bump, or make other changes? We figure that out with morphs, well before surgery. I'd love for you to see some excellent professionally-designed morphs of what could possibly be done with your nose. Morphs could also help you identify better just what's bothering you, and help you set a goal for the rhinoplasty that's accurate for your tastes. Profile and three-quarter views would be particularly important in morphing your nose. (Side note: in my opinion, morphs should really be done by the surgeon, or he should direct an assistant as she makes the morphs. Morphs should be made with a constant eye to what actually *can* be done in surgery, for that particular nose, and the surgeon has that information and judgment best.)

Finally, remember that rhinoplasty is an exquisitely difficult operation to get right, and you should only have surgery if you are able to make yourself very confident in your surgeon's skills. The changes that your nose needs require advanced techniques, and skill that most plastic surgeons don't possess with expertise. The characteristics of your nasal skin are favourable for a combination of reduction in projection and narrower appearance from the front view. An alar base reduction may be a consideration for the overall "downsizing" of the nose on the front view.

The deviation of the nose starts relatively high (high septal deviation) and in general, ultrasonic rhinoplasty can help with the correction of the deviation and maintaining a narrow appearance of the bridge.

Your nostrils are too wide (especially when you smile). There is an overprojection (visible especially from side) and a small deviation with a dorsal hump. With a rhinoplasty surgery you can have a smaller, more elegant, straight and thinner nose. You are a good candidate for the surgery and your expectations are realistic.Best regards!

You have a hump and when you smiling tip part goes to down. droppy nose. I think it is possible to solve these problems ıf you have breathing problem in the same time it can be solved. I think a little bit upturned tip is good for you. and make slimmer for get rid of bulbous.

A large portion of my practice is dedicated to rhinoplasty surgery. It is important to only see plastic surgeons with extensive experience in rhinoplasty, ie perform at least 6 per month and have performed hundreds of cases. Also, critically evaluate on-line galleries to see if their art form resonates with yours. Rhinoplasty is definitely a grey haired plastic surgeon's sport. A smaller nose overall would be a lovely improvement . Research doctors in your area and go on a few consults. And look at a lot of their pictures . Selection of the right surgeon is the most important decision you will make

What could a rhinoplasty do for your nose? you don’t show any profile views, but from the views you show it appears that you have a small dorsal hump, a bulbous tip, and a slightly drooping tip. These are all routinely addressed during a standard rhinoplasty.
