Dr. Evcimik was born in Konya in 1978. He embarked on his educational journey, culminating in significant milestones in the medical field. Graduating from Malatya Science High School in 1996, he embarked on his medical studies at Istanbul Faculty of Medicine (Çapa) in the same year. Following his completion of medical school, he fulfilled his mandatory service at Bursa Orhangazi State Hospital from 2003 to 2004. Subsequently, from 2004 to 2009, he pursued specialized training in Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) as well as Head and Neck Surgery at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Training and Research Hospital.
My entire experience exceeded anything I could ever have imagined. Although I had been advised against undergoing the procedure in a foreign country and admittedly felt some initial apprehension, these concerns proved to be entirely unfounded. I was cared for at every stage, with the team by my side throughout, and the doctor demonstrating exceptional attentiveness, kindness, and remarkable skill. Dr. Evcimik is incredibly kind and professional. He really takes his time to listen to what you want and also gives honest advice about what would suit you best. He gave me exactly the nose I wanted, I couldn’t be happier! He’s so down-to-earth, and you can tell that he has a lot of experience. The clinic is very modern and beautiful, and the hospital where I had my surgery is also new and state-of-the-art. My room looked just like a hotel room, it was so pretty, and even my boyfriend was able to stay with me. The surgery went really well, and I had no complications (just the usual difficulty breathing through the mouth at the beginning). I had my revision with Prof dr Evcimik 3 weeks ago and this is my whole expirience: I had op in my country Serbia 3y ago I had a lot of problems not only with estetics also with function and infections (I've used so many cremes and antibiotics that I couldn't even count). My friend did the surgery in Turkey and was very satisfied, and I've decided also to go to Turkey for a revision. I started to look for a dr and came across the drs page. I saw the videos and his reaction when he revels the nose to the patiences and it was so pure, u can see him tearing up. That was the initial thing that made me send the message. I did the online consultation and he told me what he can do and how he will do it (he covered all the questions and my concerns). From the start dr's energy and how honest, caring and professional he is, made me choose him immediately. I scheduled the op. His assistant Seray was all the way with me, she is so helpfull and treat u like u are her familly. U can text or call her anytime she is there. All the team is awsome (Rabya, Melis, Fatima). When I had my first consultation he showed me on camera the inside of the nose, it was awful view (I had tishue that had bad circulation and turning white, I had some left over cartliage from previous op that was clogging the breath way (from left over deviation - I couldnt breathe) I had asimetry, left over cartliage from the hump (dorsal) also cartliage on the bridge ,droopy tip. In the right nostril I had canal from my previous op when they extracted the stiches they made hole and bacteries come in as I mention in the begining. I was shocked but dr Evcimik made sure to calm me down and he told me that he will resolve and do whatever he can. My day of the op came. Hospital where I was staying was amazing, clean and like a spaceship. They made me so comfortable and reasured me all the way. I was laughing and smilling all the way to the surgery room. After op, the aftercare was great, they took so much care of me (the nurses), and they made sure I was covered with everything (medicine, ice, food, water etc. also my companion was adressed so well). I didnt have any pain or nausea, like I wasn't operated even tho I had op for 4h. I started to breath 1day after the op, even tho I had splints and my taste and smell came back. I was so shocked, and I could breath like I was on the montain (cold breath) for first time ever. In cast removal day, I was so afraid of stich removing bc trauma drom previous op, also what my nose will look like and if everything is resolved, but I had big trust in my dr. He removed stiches and splints perfectly and it didn't hurt at all. When l looked at my nose I was over the moon. It was everything I had ever dreamed of. I looked at inside and it was all gone, everything that was bothering me for so many years. Also doctor mentioned when he opened the nose there was second infection in the dorsal part. I couldnt believe what bad op can do to ur nose and what the right one can do also. Also the dr didnt use the rib cartliage which was very relieving, I had very low material. But he managed it. Im so blessed that I found him. This is the person who is so good and loves his job so so much. Ive send the inspo pics at the beggining and the dr told me he can do close resoult to that nose. But he did in my oppinion much much more, and more beautiful and what my face needs. I just love it. Day by day Iam more and more in love. I cant recommend enough the dr and his team. The best. It took me almost a year to find a surgeon who could truly understand my expectations and the vision I had for my nose. I had consultations with other surgeons, but the only one who made me feel comfortable while staying incredibly professional was Dr. Fatih Evcimik. If you’re hesitating, you can go to him with complete confidence. I really appreciated the professionalism from start to finish, not only from him but from his entire team, who were there for me every step of the way, answering every question. When you’re going through such a big change, feeling understood is so important, and they truly delivered on that. I absolutely don’t regret my choice quite the opposite!
I suggest you wait a bit. Because this area is generally not left this way during surgery, but your healing tissue fibrosis is excessive in this area and creates a thick polly beak deformity. Otherwise, it is not caused by excess cartilage tissue underneath. At the end of the first year, excess healing tissue is removed with a simple revision.
Hi TaylorI just don't recommend tipplasty. I do not recommend it under local anesthesia. If it is to happen, it should all be together because a disproportionate image will emerge. The top side is different, the bottom side is different. It would be better if the bullous type appearance is essentially corrected under general anesthesia, without touching the upper part too much. If you have a photo from the side, if you share it, at least the projection will be evaluated.
If you share your nose photos front, side and obliq views we will help you as soon as possible. In general, nose surgery does not eliminate facial asymmetries, but it can camouflage them.
It is not necessary to use a nasal retainer after rhinoplasty. If there is already collapse, a nasal retainer cannot prevent it. It is sometimes used to shape the nostrils.
