Answer: Rhinoplasty It's important to follow your surgeon's post-operative instructions after a nose job, including any advice regarding massaging the nose. However, it's not too late to start massaging your nose now, as long as you do it correctly and under the guidance of your surgeon. Massage can help to promote blood circulation, reduce swelling, and shape the nose during the healing process. However, it's important to be gentle and not apply too much pressure, as this can cause damage to the delicate tissues in the nose. Your surgeon may have specific massage techniques that they recommend for your individual situation, so it's important to follow their guidance closely. They may also advise you to use certain products such as vitamin E oil or arnica gel during the massage process to help promote healing. It's important to keep in mind that the final results of a nose job can take up to a year or more to fully develop, so it's possible that your nose may continue to change in shape and size over time. If you have any concerns about the appearance of your nose or the healing process, it's important to speak with your surgeon as they will be best equipped to provide guidance based on your individual situation. Best of luck !

Answer: Does massage improve rhinoplasty results? Hi Amy,Thank you for asking this question.Currently, in the medical field, we do not have enough evidence to conclude that massage can change or improve the result of rhinoplasty surgery. However, we know that it can make recovery faster. So, to answer your question, after 6 months you'd see minimal to no change if you begin massaging the region. Hopefully that helps.Kind regards,Dr Mehmet Dogru
