Is it possible to reverse dome binding sutures?

Question

I used to have a bulbous nose, and it suited my face much better than the narrowed down version. No cartilage was removed. Is it possible to restore my boxy tip, with some subtle bifidness ? Preferably without grafts, and only sutures, but if grafting is what it takes...

thank you for asking your question. Generally, I would say, yes that is possible. One may need some additional cartiladge grafts, to change the narrowness of your tip - depending on, what was done during the intial procedure.  One thing to keep in mind, revision rhinoplasty will not able to reverse the initial surgery - returning to your non-operated appearance. A consultation with your rhinoplasty surgeon, will help you to better identify your goals,  and realistically assess together possible outcomes, I hope this helps.

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your description, you may benefit from a revision rhinoplasty. A mastoid fascia tip graft can be placed to accomplish your goals. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
