Is it even possible to reduce a bulbous tip as big as mine down to a button nose? (Photos)

From your photos, you appear to be a great candidate for rhinoplasty. The tip appears wide and round because of the rounded cartilages that make up the tip. A well performed rhinoplasty can straighten those cartilages so that the tip would be much more defined. Be sure to see a rhinoplasty specialist for consultation.

See the before and after photo that I posted with this response. The tip of the nose is made up of two cartilages, and yours appear to be strong and broad, and there are indeed ways to narrow the tip of the nose. You only posted a couple photos, but often, when the tip cartilages are strong, besides making the tip appear wide, they also can hold the tip down, so elevating the tip is sometimes a good idea, and they can hold the tip out away from the face, so bringing the tip back closer to the face can be good, too. How *much* to narrow or elevate the tip, or deproject the nose, or make other changes? We figure that out with morphs, well before surgery. I'd love for you to see some excellent professionally-designed morphs of what could possibly be done with your nose. Morphs could also help you identify better just what's bothering you, and help you set a goal for the rhinoplasty that's accurate for your tastes. Profile and three-quarter views would be particularly important in morphing your nose. (Side note: in my opinion, morphs should really be done by the surgeon, or he should direct an assistant as she makes the morphs. Morphs should be made with a constant eye to what actually *can* be done in surgery, for that particular nose, and the surgeon has that information and judgment best.)

Finally, remember that rhinoplasty is an exquisitely difficult operation to get right, and you should only have surgery if you are able to make yourself very confident in your surgeon's skills. The changes that your nose needs require advanced techniques, and skill that most plastic surgeons don't possess with expertise. The skin of your nose appears normal. I do not think it is particularly thick. You should be able to reform the cartilage in such as way that forms a more refined tip.

Your nasal tip can be improved considerably. Maybe not to the degree of the other photo you show. Also bear in mind that many photos of models you see have been photoshopped

Based on your photos, you do not appear to have very thick nasal skin. I agree that you have a bulbous nasal tip appearance, and reduction of the width of your nasal tip may be achieved by well executed rhinoplasty surgery. The definitive answer to this question would require a consultation, but the photos shown depict a nasal tip that could be significantly refined. That is, in the right hands. It's very hard to accurately say how thick your nasal skin is in the photos, but thick nasal skin can limit the overall outcome.

After a Rhinoplasty procedure,thick skin tends to be less elastic and may not contract well over the nasal structure underneath. As a result, a bulbous nasal tip may be more common in patients with thicker skin. However, the key to achieving a successful outcome is to undergo a structural rhinoplasty.

The addition of cartilage in the form of grafts is often used to create the definition and narrowing desired at the tip and along the bridge. Consult an experienced Rhinoplasty surgeon near you who will be able to help you achieve good results

An in-person examination is going to be required to determine the extent of your wide cartilages versus How thick the skin in the nasal tip is. It's impossible to thin the skin, so there are limitations just how much refinement can occur.
