Can liposuction fix this fat pad? If not, what are my options?? (photos)

I am in my late 20s. I have a little fat pad present on one side of my face that bothers me quite a bit as I feel like it negatively affects my appearance. Is this an issue that lipo could reasonably fix or improve? If not, what do you recommend?

Thank you for your question and photos. You may benefit from a buccal lipectomy to remove the buccal fat pad and create a more symmetrical appearance. This procedure can define your cheekbone and jawline while also reducing excess fullness to achieve a more striking contour. Micro liposuction can also provide further contour, but more photos and information are necessary to offer a better recommendation.

Together, buccal fat removal and jawline lipo will definitely help to achieve your goal. You have a bit of jowling, which is very common. Buccal fat removal will help reduce some of the fullness in your lower cheeks while taking a little weight off the jowls. Jawline lipo will further reduce that little pocket, and help to tighten the skin, creating a more contoured jawline. Both of these procedures are done with local anesthesia and are done through the mouth, which means no external scarring. An extra consideration may be submental lipo as well. That will reduce little bit of fat under your chin.

Thankyou for your query. The small fat pad on the left side of your face may be  superficial, although a careful physical examination or an MRI is needed to tell for sure. Buccal fat pad excision helps with deeper buccal fat  and a very careful micro liposuction of this area may help with superficial fat deposits. Some radio-frequency skin tightening may also help. Facial liposuction is tricky and you should go to someone who has experience with this procedure. Please find an experienced Board certified Plastic surgeon who can help you with all your concerns. Do you have premature jowl formation. This is not a separate fat pad or an issue related to fat distribution. The contour issue is related to your bone, structure and early signs of facial aging.
Some plastic surgeons will do liposuction in the Jowls. In that area is a branch of the facial nerve which can be damaged from the procedure.
The textbook answer for treatment of jowls is a neck lift.
You’ll probably get different opinions depending on who you ask. I suggest having multiple in person consultations with local board-certified plastic surgeons in your community to see what each has to say.
Liposuction may give me some improvements, but is a little bit of a simplistic view since the primary problem is not directly related to fat distribution.
