I have what looks like a ball on the tip of my chin. Would lipo help? What is the cause of this? It seems worse as I age.
Answer: Chin surgery and skin It appears that your chin comes to a point. It would improve with added lateral projection. This can be accomplished with fillers or a custom shin implant. I would also recommend skin resurfacing with a peel or fractional CO2 laser.

Answer: Chin treatments The prominence on your chin may be caused by overgrowth of the one of the tissues in the area - either muscle, fat or bone. In most cases, the muscle in the area is overactive, and treatment with Botox is effective, however, an in person evaluation is needed to confirm the diagnosis and formulate a treatment plan. Liposuction cannot be used to treat this area.

Answer: Need to come in to consult For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Chin shape Liposuction is not appropriate to treat that area. You have a lot of volume loss so fillers is probably one of the best options. Best, Mats Hagstrom, MD
