Your breasts exhibit a shortened lower pole and are slightly ptotic. I don't believe you need a lift as a subglandular placement of an implant would round you out and fill the lower pole and lift the nipple.Hope this helps.

Thank you for your question. Implants can add volume, increase breast size, provide fullness, and improve breast shape if your breasts have lost volume and appear droopy after losing weight. However, implants alone may not be enough to lift your breasts and reposition the nipples higher, which may require a breast lift. During your consultation, your surgeon will assess the degree of ptosis (sagging). In your case, and based on the pictures you might be able to get away with just implants.

I don't feel that you need to have a breast lift. Your nipple is above your breast fold which is a simple way to tell if you have too much tissue hanging over that needs to be lifted. The implant will lift you instead of the scars of a breast lift. Later in life you may find that your natural tissue starts to sag. At that point you could do a breast lift.

Although it’s impossible to know for sure with pictures alone, you should be able to have an augmentation with implants alone. You may want to tend to pick and implant slightly on the larger side to ensure good cleavage and nipple position.

determining whether you need simply a breast augmentation versus a breast lift can be somewhat complicated. It depends on a number of factors including skin laxity and current nipple position. Generally speaking, if the nipples are lower than the inframammary line the patient will most likely need a breast lift. If the nipples are at or above the inframammary line we can generally get by with just a breast augmentation depending on the size of the implant the patient wants. I often still using implant when I perform a breast lift because it provides more upper breast fullness after the lift. To be sure a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon will help determine what the patient actually needs.
