I had an FUT 2ransplant, and the doctor lied about being able to lower the hairline. I now want forehead reduction surgery. Is this a good idea? I’m planning to have the surgery a year after my transplant. What are the risks?

Your forehead is masculine but not overly prominent. Your chin would be much more impactful. I would say a genioplasty is a better option bc you need about 10mm+ of advancement. Chin implant is going to be under a lot of pressure which pushes them in a few millimeters so you lose some projection...

This is between you and your surgeon, so follow their advice on this. I would suggest my patient hold the isotretinoin (even low dose) prior to an aesthetic procedure, especially forehead reduction given the visibility of the scar.
