Would a butt lift make me appear less proportionate? 33 y/o (photos)

Allow me to answer your question as best i can based upon your photos. However, please keep in mind that an in-person, or at least a virtual, consultation with physical exam is first necessary before any legitimate evaluation or final surgical recommendations can be made.

Buttock “sagging” or flattening is usually a combination of loss of volume or deflation (after weight loss, liposuction, or post-BBL) and/or the effect of aging and gravity or plain ol genetics. So, I personally first treat patients like you by restoring volume to the buttock with a buttock implant. This will create a more desirable smooth and rounded perky buttock profile. If not adding volume with an implant, the buttock will most certainly always appear more flat with just a buttock lift. A lower buttock tuck is usually then performed at six months following implants. In this sequence, the implants have fully settled into final position so that any remaining loose skin can be most accurately identified and removed with the lower buttock tuck. Please note, because an extremely few number of board certified plastic surgeons specialize in buttock implants, you may have to travel away from your local area to seek consultation with this particular type of surgeon. Getting it done right the first time around is not only the best chance for success, but also will save you from a lot of headaches and money in the future. Glad to help.

This would result in a scar across the top of your buttock. I do not think that this would be an adequate trade off for a buttock lift. Maybe some fat grafting to the upper pole of the buttock would be better since no significant scarring would result.

You appear quite thin. Fat transfers is an alternative and the other alternative is a butt lift. A surgical incision is used and a flap is made to transpose to give more projection. This can be done is you have enough excess skin.

Thank you for your question and photos. Based on these photos, you are a great candidate for a skinny Brazilian Butt lift. I use the VASER hi Def lipo 360 degrees technique to sculpt the torso and fat graft the buttocks laterally and posteriorly. The liposuction in itself will improve the lower back lordosis (curve). You will look more proportional with a narrower waist and hourglass shape. See a board certified plastic surgeon experienced in advanced body sculpting techniques for an in person consultation/evaluation. Good luck. BTW, you do not need to gain weight prior to surgery.

Hello and thank you for posting. No need to worry. There is not enough fat to make you look disproportionate. Remember the Brazilian butt lift lipoes out fat from other areas to then use in the butt and hips. This means your whole body will change!

You will have a slightly smaller waist and slightly flatter tummy with a much nicer butt. Your overall shape will improve, plus your butt will get fuller, slightly bigger and a with a much nicer shape. This is just enough for a big change and very good results!

Hi dear. In your case, we recommend liposuction with fat transfer to the buttocks. However, since you have a slim build, the amount of fat that would be transferred to your buttocks will be proportional to your body, to maintain aesthetic harmony. Based on your pictures, some liposuction above your buttock (in the flank & love handle area) may define your buttock without making it bigger. Some of the liposuction fat could be used to round out the side of the buttock. In many cases, this can be done as an awake procedure.

In order to harvest enough fat to get any kind of real increase in subcutaneous fat thickness around your gluteal region would require liposuction of every aspect of your body, other than your butt.
I do not recommend people gain weight for the purpose of having fat transfer.
Because you’re thin and don’t have it subcutaneous fat to harvest I don’t think a body fat transfer procedure makes sense for you.
The subcutaneous fat layer is thin in all aspects of your body not just your glue your region.
You have a really good curvature of your spine, giving you good female proportions Even though your subcutaneous, fat thickness is thin. Your skeletal structure is more slim than it is curvy. The best on the pictures you’ve included I think it’s probably better to not have a BBL card.
There’s always a risk and downsides with every procedure and this is definitely true for the BBL.
Unless you find a really skilled surgeon, Liposuction can leave with disfigurement.It’s a lot of surgery to go through for a result that would still be subtle.
If the subtle result is justified, and you don’t mind having liposuction of your torso and extremities, then maybe a BBL would be worthwhile.
I will say that Delivering consistent quality liposuction resultsit fat transfer is more difficult than most people realize.
The number of plastic surgeons who approach mastery of this procedure is in reality quite small.
Being good at the procedure is not just a technical aspect, but also the ability to make accurate assessments.
