Dear izamara90,every plastic surgeon has his own postoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.Daniel Barrett, MD, MHA, MS Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, Am. Society of Plastic Surgery
Thank you for your question. I would recommend consulting with your doctor. Every plastic surgeon has his own preference. Best of luck!Dhaval M. Patel Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Hoffman Estates Barrington Oakbrook Chicago Orland Park
There are no rules with compressive wear after a BBL. I do think that more compression is better than less. Be careful with garments so they don’t create creasing in the abdominal skin as you sit. These creases can become permanent. I like to have my patients wear a belly board for 6-8 weeks and lymphatic massage definitely helps move out the swelling and fluid quickly.
