Answer: Cellfina treatment If you have more than one Cellfina treatment, your cellulite dimples should continue to improve. Cellfina is uses a microneedle to cut through the fibrous bands under the skin which cause the outside skin to dimple. One Cellfina treatment is recommended for most. However, some women have numerous cellulite dimples that can't be addressed with one treatment. In severe cases, a touch up treatment can maximize results.

Answer: Cellfina: A Onetime Only Procedure to Eliminate Cellulite Thank you for the detailed question. Cellfina is a onetime procedure for treating cellulite on the buttocks and thighs. If you have an extensive amount of dimples it is possible to need a second treatment but usually it is done once and the results last up to two years or longer. Even once you get the results you are happy with, you may never have to get the treatment again. Please consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon in-person to see if you are a good candidate for the treatment. For more information please visit our webpage.

Answer: How Many Treatments Are Needed For Cellfina Cellfina is a one-time, minimally invasive procedure which takes only 45 minutes to perform. But the results last for a minimum of two years. It has the longest lasting results of any current #cellulite treatment and it's approval rate is over 93% here on RealSelf.#Cellifina is often used on #moderate to #severe cellulite of the buttock and thighs by treating the rubber-band-like connective tissue that causes cellulite. When these “rubber bands” under the skin are cut, the fat trapped underneath in dimples “snaps” back into place, creating a full, smooth appearance. There is no cutting and no incisions. To perform this controlled, precise, and safe procedure, a vacuum hand piece is placed over the dimpled tissue through which the surgeon will deliver a local anesthetic. Then a small, needle-like #microblade is inserted to release the fibrous bands, the cause of cellulite. It is best to consult with a board-certified Plastic Surgeon to learn if you are candidate for this treatment.

Answer: Cellfina is a one time, minimally invasive, no downtime procedure Cellfina is meant to be a one time treatment for cellulite. It treats the underlying cause of cellulite by cutting and releasing the connective tissue bands within subcutaneous fat that cause dimpling of the skin. Once these bands are released the dimples should improve or resolve. All dimples of both buttocks and thighs can be addressed with a single treatment. No maintenance treatments are required. Patient satisfaction increases for up to two years after treatment and remains at 93% 3 years after treatment. The cost of Cellfina is related to the number of dimples treated and ranges from $4000-$6000 in my area. You should consult with a qualified and experienced board certified surgeon to find out if you are an appropriate candidate for Cellfina. Best of luck!Dr. Max Polo

Answer: Cellfina™ is generally a one-time treatment for cellulite. While Cellfina™ is FDA-approved to treat cellulite for at least three years, most people don't need to come back for additional treatments on the same areas. Other so-called cellulite treatments produce only limited and temporary results, if they produce any at all. Therefore, because Cellfina™ actually addresses the structural cause of cellulite, it is the only minimally invasive treatment that is truly effective to treat cellulite dimples and does so in one treatment.
