I keep seeing Web videos of Tickle Lipo being done under local anathesia and the patient awake/alert and PAIN FREE!! What is the difference between this and Vaser Liposuction? I had understood they are both ultrasonic liposuction. I had Vaser liposuction done on 11/5 on my buttocks - and it has been MOST painful!! I am taking pain medication every 4-6 hours. Perhaps I should have elected Tickle Lipo-- and will consider it for the future?

Answer: Pain after Lipo can happen after any technique
There is no ideal weight to do liposuction. The closer to your ideal weight the better. Obese patients with BMI greater than 30 especially if they have comorbidities are better off shedding pounds before considering liposuction.

There is no set amount of fat that can or should be removed, it all depends on how much fat the patient has during time of surgery. There are upper limits of how much fat can be taken out one time.
