How does Smart Lipo feel during actual procedure?

Question

I'm having smart Lipo to remove bra rolls and dog ears around waist in back...I'm just really scared about being awake. I see a lot of info about afterward but no info about how it was during the procedure. I had two c sections and was awake but I'm still really freaking out

The key to painless awake lipo by any technique is the quality of the local anesthesia injection technique. Some do it well, others not. If it concerns you enough and your surgeon is not an expert in tumescent anesthesia, shop around for another surgeon or request that an anesthesiologist let you sleep with sedation during your surgery.

It's quite normal to be nervous. There can be some minor discomfort during the process of injecting the local anesthesia (tumescent fluid). Once that is done, you will be quite comfortable, only feeling some pressure. You are going to be glad you did this awake once you are done, putting on your garment, and walking out the door. Thank you for your question. They do really well and usually say they are glad to do this way. It is normal to be anxious. There will be minor discomfort during tumescent(numbing) infiltration time. After that no issues usually. Talk to the staff or your doctor. Good luck
