Thank you for your question. The amount of fat transferred depends on the quantity available and the extent of buttock augmentation each patient desires. Sufficient body fat for a buttock augmentation is very patient-specific, depending on an individual’s body shape and proportions as well as their expectations. Buttock augmentation with fat grafting is one of our most popular procedures in Colombia, and from experience we can tell you that some patients do very well with 300 cc of fat per side while others can need 800 cc or more. That said, you definitely have to choose your surgeon correctly and make sure that he/she has the training and experience to meet your goals with absolute safety. Best is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with specialized expertise in this procedure.
Hello dear! Thanks for the question and provided information as well.To determine the right amount of CC's to transfer in a BBL, an in-person consultation is in order, because it depends on a number of factors.Liposuction allows your plastic surgeon to transform your entire shape. You can improve your abdomen, hips, back and flanks, and of course your buttock, to give you a nice heart shape. In general, you need to be physically healthy and at a stable weight, have realistic expectations, be a non-smoker and your BMI needs to be 33 or less.l recommend you to make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to talk about your goals and anything you need to know.Good luck :)
Your question it's a little bit like asking how many people fit in a car.In my Smart car I can fit two people. Some SUVs can fit nine people.some people can handle over 2000 mL per side others max out at 700.there simply a limit to how much fat can be grafted in any certain area at one time.as a general statement any one area can be initially doubled in size with fat transfer. For example if one butt cheek is 1000 mL approximately 1000 mL of fat could be grafted into it.Of this approximately 500 mL will remain long-term.these are just general guidelines. It's not possible to put 5000 mL in an area that starts off being 1000 mL.during my consultations I generally do not focus on the number of cc but rather overall shape and contour results.Best,Mats Hagstrom, MD
You should to consider staying in Miami for 5-7 days post opinfections tend to come up 3-5 days after surgery you want to make sureif you run into any infection you are local and your surgeon can be ableto provide you service and care.Good luck!
Typically four weeks after you can sit and lay on your buttocks however some patients prefer to extend this time a little moreto about 6-8 weeks so i would say you are in the right stageto be able to enjoy finally laying on your back .Good luck!
Every doctor has different guidelines that they use to decide if a patient needs any workup before surgery. In my practice if a patient is young with no medical problems, not taking any medications and had normal vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen saturation) when I see them for...
