How long should I expect to be in pain post lipo 360?

Question

I am 2, almost 3 weeks post op from lipo 360. How long should I expect to be in pain?. I’m currently taking otc Tylenol. But i am still in quite a bit of pain. I’m very stiff and i find that my back has the most pain. I’m also still very stiff. I’ve been off work for the past few weeks and I totally can’t go back until my pain is under control and I’m less stiff. What’s a normal timeline of relief?

Pain after surgery varies per patient.  It is very common to still experience pain for several weeks after surgery.  However if your pain worsens and is not alleviated by your pain medications it is best to be seen by your plastic surgeon for further evaluation.  Good luck!

Pain can be variable for patients who have had liposuction. If necessary, this pain can be treated with anti-inflammatory medications and neurontin. If it persists, I recommend following up with your Doctor. It can take 3-6 months for final results with liposuction. I suggest lymphatic massage, hyperbaric oxygen, and RF treatments like venus legacy to help reduce any swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance.
