It is very difficult to determine the exact size and shape implant you will require to best match your ideal butt image without an examination by a board certified plastic surgeon. Not just any board certified plastic surgeon, but one with many years of frequently performing breast augmentation surgery including different approaches, techniques and implant choices. This is because several measurements not to mention your breast characteristics are needed to determine the optimal implant size to obtain your goals. Without knowing these dimensions it would be difficult to make this determination. For example, the existing base width of your buttock will determine, in many cases, the maximal volume per implant profile that you can accommodate. Liposuction of your lower back and fat transfer is also helpful as an adjunct to implants. Using “want to be” photos however are useful if simply provided to the surgeon.
Thank you for your question. In order to suggest a buttock implant size, careful measurements of your buttocks will be necessary. I recommend consulting with a plastic surgeon who has experience with buttock implants. My preferred method of implant placement is "inside" the muscle, which limits your ability to see/feel/flip the implant, so you probably won't get much jiggling.Best,Dr. Dan KrochmalMAE Plastic SurgeryNorthbrook, IL
The size of buttock implants for you depends on what your buttock augmentation goals are. (i.e., how much bigger do you want to be) Intramuscular buttock implants will not jiggle. Buttock implants placed above the muscle will have some movement.
Thank you for your question about butt implant surgery. It is important for you to choose the appropriate implant size that will meet your specific goals, while taking into account your butt cheek diameter and gluteal muscle width. To avoid the jiggling that you're talking about it would be best to utilize the intramuscular approach which can avoid this issue. Good luck with your surgery!
The stitch poking is a suture and will last anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months depending on whether your surgeon uses vycril, monocryl, and PDS.
In short, a combination of sculpting your waistline with liposuction and augmenting your buttock with implants provides the best chance for a long lasting "hour-glass" figure. Please read on for more surgical details: One of the most important factors in creating the perfect derriere with...
Buttock implants would make a minimal to negligible effect of the appearance of cellulite on the buttock. Fat injections would provide better improvement in that regard because they can be more superficially placed.
