Dear Zenobia, If by cellulite you mean skin irregularities due to skin laxity or irregularities from all kind of injection including fat injection, than, butt implants definitely can improve and smooth the skin of the butt. The implants tightens the skin and smooth it . I have done it on quite a few patients with spectacular improvement. You can contact my office and obtain the before and after pictures , which will convince you in that regard. That improvement occurs, for sure, with my technique, which is the sub fascia technique (on top of the muscle). Doctors who use the sub muscular or intra muscular technique might not achieve it. Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons , who use the sub fascia technique, in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after picture in the photo gallery to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive with nice 'S' curve, nice projection, round hips (hour glass) , nice skin and natural look. Best of luck, Dr Widder
Buttock implants have minimal effect at reducing cellulite. Additionally, do not let anyone convince you liposuction will help either, most likely it will make it significantly worse. Best option is something called subcision +/- fat grafting to the individual depressions. Glad to help.
No, I do not think buttock implants will improve the appearance of cellulite. Cellulite is a very superficial process that doesn't respond well to most procedures to improve it.
Buttock implants would make a minimal to negligible effect of the appearance of cellulite on the buttock. Fat injections would provide better improvement in that regard because they can be more superficially placed.
Yes implants and fat grafting will minimize cellulite in your buttocks. Both are good procedures to have done for this purpose. A consultation is helpful in providing a more accurate response.
It is unusual......and possibly not very wise to remove butt implants after 1 week just because you don't like them at this early stage. The position changes a lot and implants usually start looking really good at around 8-10 weeks after surgery. Anyway, removal after one week should not leave...
It is very difficult to determine the exact size and shape implant you will require to best match your ideal butt image without an examination by a board certified plastic surgeon. Not just any board certified plastic surgeon, but one with many years of frequently performing breast augmentation...
This is why its EXTREMELY important to choose a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon who specializes in buttock implants. If you do that you will not have this type of result. This is a poorly placed implant and can be revised by a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in buttock implants.
