I’ve gotten tear trough fillers, filler in my chin, and a thread lift in my cheeks, and my face still looks the same. I have no contours, a very round oval race, and a weak chin. I don’t know what to do. I’m miserable and dislike the way my face looks. I also think my teeth are misaligned or something as my face is very asymmetrical. What should I do?
Answer: Face shape changes Your face has an overall pleasant shape and maybe just a few suggestions for improvement of the overall facial balance. A chin implant or genioplasty would help with horizontal projection of your chin. Cheek fillers and if you wanted something more permanent for cheeks then cheek implants. This will give you well contoured cheekbones. Lastly, skin resurfacing with microneedling or lasers to improve skin texture. Any combination of these treatments would provide nice changes. Fillers are a great way to see if you like the facial changes.

Answer: Face shape You are on the right track with the treatments you've selected. I encourage you to review before/after photos of board certified plastic surgeons near you. Visit with the ones whose work you feel matches your criteria. Fillers to the cheek area can volumize and highlight contours. Fillers to the chin can give you more definition. Treatments like Morpheus8 can stimulate collagen production and improve skin's tone and texture.

Answer: Facial Slimming — Masseter Botox, Facetite/Renuvion J Plasma, Buccal Fat Pad Removal, Fillers to sculpt the Cheek/Jawline/Chin fillers, threads and skin tightening with morpheus and enlighten peels can really help your overall look. I suggest a consult (see link). most of my younger clients use fillers to give them shaping especially on the cheeks, jawline, and chin which make the face look more slim and tight; and threads such as PDO or Instalift can build collagen and support the facial shaping and skin looseness over time, slowing down the aging process and given the face a more “snatched” look; and morpheus deep microneedling RF can tighten crepe skin especially on the neck and jawline and is great for long term tightening of the full face, neck and chest; its often used to give the face a slimmer more sculpted look because it tightens the skin and gives lift. an early face lift can be performed as well even in younger clients if they want a different facial shape, maxillofacial surgery with bone breaking or shaving can also be done. For facial slimming a combination of treatments are always needed. Options include: 1. Buccal fat pad removal to reduce fat on the lower face 2. Factite or Renuvion/J Plasma to tighten the lower face, jawline, and chin to reduce fat and give the jawline and neck tightening and shaping. 3. Botox to the masseter to reduce the muscular size of the jaw giving the face an illusion of being more slender 4. Fillers to the jawline, chin, cheeks, temples and brow help to shape the face and make it more angled and defined Always use at home derma rolling (see link to Emerageskin x anteageMD roller plus stem cells/hyaluronic acid ampules) and peels like emeragecosmetics enlighten or aerify that can be used to improve skin quality and tighten the skin while improving wrinkles, pigmentation, acne, and Melasma. See an expert who does facial shaping with surgical and non surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Injectable Volumizing & Lifting Fillers Can Work Well For Recontouring & Reshaping The Face Take a breath. Your issues can be relatively easily addressed. To start with, the likely reason that you have not been satisfied with your treatments to date are probably due to the fact that treating the tear troughs directly without restoring volume to the underlying cheek would be like trying to build a house without putting in a foundation. Secondly, I gave up performing threadlifts years ago because even when they were somewhat effective, the results didn't last and also they only pull the skin rather than restoring volume to the underlying tissue, which is perhaps the most significant contributory cause to the appearance of sagging and aging. A volumizing filler, by contrast, placed over the apex of the cheekbones would not only create a less long and more ideal heart-shaped appearance in full-face view, but would secondarily improve the under eye area. In profile view, a robust volumizing filler in the chin would help to harmonize chin projection with the projections of the lips and nose. So relax, in experienced hands, both the cheeks and the chin together can be treated in under about twenty minutes. You would be wise to consult with an experiienced board certified aesthetic physician. So relax, and best of luck.
