I had my lip lift with rhinoplasty 4 months ago. Now I'm considering lip augmentation with fillers like Juvederm (about 1 - 1.5 of syringe) 1. Should I wait a little bit longer for best healing process? 2. Will it cause my lips to drop and thus interfere my final lip lift result? 3. Using fillers regularly will cause my lips to drop even more in the future?
Answer: Lip fillers after lip lift Thanks for your question. Every surgical procedure has a recovery or healing time. It is the time taken for healing process and settling of the surgical manipulation. A well healed surgical wound region can appropriately offer ground for further procedures. In case you have completely recovered from your lip and nasal surgical procedures, you should be able to have dermal fillers for lip volume enhancement at any time. Fillers of the Juvederm family are quite effective for this procedure. As a safety precaution, you can still check with your surgeon who performed the cosmetic lip lift procedure to be sure you can proceed with lip fillers.I hope this helps.

Answer: Lip fillers after a lift You should review this with your surgeon and make sure that you healed to his satisfaction. If you are still swollen, you might want to wait a bit longer.
