Unhappy about swollen areas under my eyes I went to a surgeon who said inflammations caused this problem and put steroid injections. Shortly after I developped atrophy, dents and decoloration. Another surgeon proposed fat grafting and under + upper blepharoplasty. 1 month after surgery I am not pleased with my big upper eyelids, making me look older and even more tired than before. Please tell me what changes I still can expect; will my upper eyelids still become smaller over time?

Answer: The most important thing right now is to do nothing.

I believe it is complex case to evaluate online.
It is necessary to have the neurologist and the ophthalmologist's point of view because you had a trauma.
Best to see an oculoplastic specialist for evaluation and discussion of options. First, a diagnosis has to be made. Then treatment options considered. Orbital decompression is one option. Other procedures could be orbital rim implant or eyelid surgery.
Yes, the swelling in the lower eyelid and cheek areas can be seen after upper eyelid surgery. Completely normal. I encourage you to use cold compresses for up to 4 days after the surgery as this will help improve this otherwise temporary concern. Best of luck.
