Can you raise your eyebrows (to express happiness or excitement) after treatmeont for 11 lines between the brows only (not forehead lines)? I want to not be able to frown and furrow my brow all the time to prevent a wrinkle from getting worse, but don’t want to lose my excited/happy face.
Answer: Botox Hi @Resourceful98804. Thank you for your question. Botox injections for your 11 lines target your corrugator and procerus muscles. I recommend seeking treatments from expert injectors who have the skill and experience to precisely inject fillers into treatment areas and avoid risks and complications. Best of luck, Dr. Nima

Answer: Maintaining natural movement after Botox injections When Botox is used to treat glabellar lines (the 11s), it targets different muscles than the ones used to raise the eyebrows. You should see a reduction in your lines without sacrificing your ability to make natural facial expressions. However, this procedure does require precision in both dosing and placement to ensure this result. Make sure you work with a board-certified dermatologist with extensive training in neuromodulators to ensure the best possible result.

Answer: Botox requires precision and experience With the correct placement of injections, you should be able to reduce the glabellar lines without affecting your ability to raise your eyebrows. The muscles targeted for the treatment are different than the muscles used to move your eyebrows. Keep in mind that this treatment does require a great deal of expertise and precision to target the correct muscles and produce the most natural result. Make sure your injector has the experience, qualifications, and expertise to achieve an optimal outcome.

Answer: Treatment of 11's with Botox Thank you for your question. Botox is a neuromodulator that temporarily relaxes the muscles to reduce the appearance of wrinkles created by dynamic facial movements. When Botox is injected into the glabella (11's) the targeted muscles there are the corrugator supercilii and the procerus. You will still be able to move your brows if only these muscles are injected. The frontalis (forehead) is responsible for elevation of the eyebrows. Make sure you select an experienced injector for your treatment. Best of luck.
