Moxi is a ligher laser and helps with pores, we love it every 4-8 weeks along with peels between at home peels like cosmelan, enlighten and aerify along with dermarolling (MTS roller with anteage MD ampules weekly, see link) should be started now to prevent further aging. For facial rejuvenation, I would suggest a combination approach of 1) skin care with products and PRP/microneedling 2) PDT light therapy few times a month with growth factors 3) laser treatments like clear and brilliant regularly and a few times a year Fraxel/Halo, Viva, Co2/Erbium 4) Sculptra injections a few times a year for collagen production with fillers like juvederm/restylane/belotero/radiesse/bellafill 5) thermage/ultherapy for yearly skin tightening with or without PDO or cone based instalift threads for lifting 6) botox every 2-3 months to stop movement lines and prevent lines at rest 7) deep microneedling RF like Fractora/morpheus8/PiXel8 for tightening of the skin 8) Vascular laser like vbeam/excel V or BBL forever young treatment every quarter (3-4 months) Best, Dr. Emer.
Hi, thanks for your question. You'd probably be better off with a combination of radio frequency treatments such as Viva Nano Fractional or Morpheus 8 and a good skincare routine, which includes retinol, rather than getting Botox. Botox addresses fine lines and wrinkles as opposed to skin imperfections. I highly recommend that you book a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon, medical aesthetician, or dermatologist that can come up with personalized treatment plan for your skin. If you've had treatments that haven't worked before it's possible they weren't the right ones for you or you may need subsequent treatments in order for the approach to work.
Hello, thank you for your question. I would recommend seeing a board certified dermatologist who will have a variety of treatments to offer, both pharmaceutical and lasers.
Chemical peels (such as VI Peel), diamond glow treatments, and radiofrequency microneedling treatments are part of our portfolio for treating skin concerns such as pore size. Botox is not something we typically consider in our offices for that particular concern. There are many possiblities, and I would recommend reaching out to a practitioner in your area for an in person evaluation for your specific needs. Thank you for your question.
Thank you for your question. Botox is more for weakening muscles in the face thereby preventing wrinkles from developing. It will have a limited effect on pore size. Lasers are usually a better options to aid in that. I hope this helps!
I think you will find the best results from a combination of treatments. I encourage you to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon or dermatologist to create a customized plan for you.
Hello and thank you for your question. Botox might be able to help pores I think you should make an appointment with a doctor and see what is best for your. Best wishes.Dr. T
HI @sofranakhan, botox can be used to reduce the appearance of pores by a treatment called Mesotox or Botox mesotherapy. It's a treatment where diluted botox is injected into the pores by multiple injections which relaxes the muscle that dilates the pores. It also reduces the sweat and oil glands which helps to reduce the pore size too. Looking at your pictures, it looks like you have a combination of large pores and scars (of a varying type). Botox helps pore size but have little effect on scars which will require different treatment modalities. Hope that helps.
Hi there, I would definitely think this may be a great solution for you. See the appropriate physician and if this is an option you could very well have your solution. Best of luck....
Yes, you can have Botox 3 weeks after your tetanus booster. Should be no problem with that. Always contact a board certified medical expert for your Botox treatment .
The questions you bring up demonstrate why it is so important to visit with an expert injector for treatment. When done properly it is possible to treat the frown lines, commonly referred to as "the 11's" as well as give a conservative brow lift. You don't have to pick one or the other.
