I have a natural eyebrow arch which is a bit too high as shown in the before picture. I would like to have just the lateral part of the eyebrows lowered a bit (3-5 mm) to achieve a straighter brow as shown. In the after pic where I am pushing my outer brows down slightly. Where my inner brow and outer brow are on the same line. Can this be achieved using Botox or will orbital decompression be needed to fix my bulging eyes first?

Answer: Botox to lower brow Botox can be used to lower the arch of the brow. It only takes a few units into the forehead muscle to achieve this result. The procedure is easy to do in the office and takes about 2 weeks to see the full benefit. Please consult a board-certified dermatologist or plastic surgeon experienced in aesthetic injectables. Best wishes.

Answer: Can my eyebrow arch that's too high be lowered with Botox? Hello, thank you for your question. Botox can be used to contour the brow, when lowering the brow, a small volume of Botox is injected into the frontalis muscle above the brow. This will lower the brow and offset a high arched brow. I recommend you to see a local expert injector with extensive experience and training to ensure optimal results and safety.

Answer: Yes, Botox can help. Hi, Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist, Lindsay here! Yes, Botox in the frontalis (forehead) muscle can help lower the natural arch of your brows. It works by decreasing the contraction of the brow elevating muscle. You'll feel restricted, almost like you have a swim cap on, but that is the objective. Hope this helps! Let us know how it goes!
