Can Botox or Radiesse cause a twitchy smile?

I recently had Radiesse into my smile lines, cheeks and chin area and about 2 units of botox ea for crows feet. The doctor put a little more filler on the right side because it was my week side. Also, he tweaked my right chin a few times to get it "just right". It looks a little more swollen on the right side but not crazy. Now only when I smile, the right side of my face shakes or twitch. Then it kind of aches after. Are my muscles tired or could something have gone wrong with the injections.

Radiesse has been proven to NOT turn into bone or promote bone growth when injected to this area.  I use it on the bottom of the feet to supply support to athletes and those who wear high heals a lot.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Thank you for your question.  In theory, you can use any filler in the nipple region, but the best ones are the stiffer ones like Radiesse, Voluma or Restylane Lyft.

Thank you for your question.  Dermal fillers are a great way to accentuate the brows.  It is an advanced technique and the thicker varients of the dermal fillers (Voluma, Restylane Lyft) would be my preferred filler.

When Radiesse is used to lift and fill the cheeks it is placed deep within the tissues and then molding to finish the contour.  You may swell slightly for 1-3 days which will be diminished with keeping the area cool but not frozen for the same time period.  Limiting sports activities...
