Strong definition of the jawline and slender of the upper part of the neck often rely on a strong development of the lower jaw.

However, it is possible to get relatively similar impact by reducing the volume under the jawline which can be done through an anterior neck lift also referred to by some surgeons as short scar neck lift. It is a deep plane intervention since your superficial fatty tissue is relatively thin, with reduction in the deeper seated fatty tissue, anterior belly of the digastric muscles and lower part of the submandibular gland which are visible on your profile photos. The incision is placed under the chin.

Through the same access you can also enhance slightly the chin projection with an implant.

You can assess the potential impact of these changes using 3D imaging and computer simulation to decide whether they correspond to your expectations.

Liposuction can accomplish removal of fat deposits above the platysma muscle which will give you a nice improvement.  When there is fat deposits located below the platysma muscle, then a neck lift procedure with a platysma-plasty is required to significantly improve the jawline.  No skin removal is required.
