Can the dents on the sides of my buttocks be filled in or pushed out?

I have very ugly and huge dents on both sides of my buttocks, can they be fixed. I had one doctor tell me its a weak muscle that collapsed or something, and said he could fix it but after my surgery I still have them and wasted my money. Can surgery really fix them or should I hit up the gym and do squats?
