Breast lift revision under local

If it is simply a scar revision and some minor reduction of skin/tissues it is possible to do under local. However, a consultation, or at least photos would be necessary to get an idea of the extent of what you are asking. Small asymmetries and widened scars from breasts lifts can often be revised under local anesthesia. Without pictures and more information, it is not possible to offer advice specific to your situation however.

Dear Mercerina,   Front picture would have been very helpful. Small scar revision, can be done under local anesthesia, but from your description of skin removal from your right breast, it might be a better idea to do it under general anesthesia. You will be more comfortable (no pain) and your surgeon will be able to do a better job for you, without worrying about your discomfort.  In regard to cost, it is impossible to give you an estimate without seeing your pictures or examining you.    Always, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery, to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive with nice cleavage, perky, symmetrical , nice scars and natural looking.                            Best of luck,                                                 Dr Widder

Thank you for your question. Yes, you can most definitely have this procedure performed under local anesthetic. The cost is dependent upon the Surgeon - it can vary. The recovery period is typically minimal because it's only a skin procedure - and most people have relatively little pain. I would suggest waiting at least 1 year from your first procedure, however, prior to having scar revision surgery performed. Best of luck. 

Yes you can modify the scar under local anesthesia.  Very aggressive lift procedure invariably will have small asymmetries.   Once the swelling all resolves and the skin relaxes completely it is the best time to revise a scar.
