Does Botox sometimes have the effect of getting worse before it gets better?

Since it's been 2 weeks the results should be final, for about 3 months. After 3 months all effect of botox should wear off. If your doctor used more product this time, I think it may have been a placement issue. If it does not go right into the muscle the results may be variable. You may want to let the office know and see if they can fit you in to take a look. Good luck!

At this point two weeks after the procedure, you should be seeing the full effects of your Botox treatment. I would followup with your injector since you are concerned with your results.

We always recommend that you have these injections performed in the offices of board certified dermatologists or plastic surgeons as we understand the anatomy in the areas the best and know best how to use Botox. By two weeks after your injection, some need a touch up to make things the best they can be.  Sometimes, if things are not right, the placement of the Botox may not be correct. Find the right provider and you should do fine with continued Botox injections.

Hi Concerned789,It's time to go for treatment follow-up - this way, your Provider could assess his/her work and be able to adjust the number of units used.
