I have had Botox twice and still have 11’s (frown lines) Can microneedling help? (photos)

I have had Botox twice it worked great on my forehead lines but I still have frown lines (11’s) I am getting microneedling done next week for my acne scars. Will microneedling also help with my wrinkles?

Hi Lex. I appreciate your concerns. Chin injections should always be performed with great care so as not to relax the lips. Even when with precision, some Botox can migrate to unwanted areas. There are no studies to support the use of Botox in pregnancy and thus its use is not recommended in women who are pregnant or breastfeeding. That said, it is not unusual to have Botox injected when pregnant before the pregnancy is known. There seems to be no known ill effects. Don’t panic!!  ...

Honestly, I feel you may give yourself laxity with botox as your jaw is already slim and it can make it more slim causing the skin to sag. you need a formal consultation.  Best, Dr. Emer.
