I’ve had an ear deformity since birth. I’m not too sure about the type of deformity it is. I have not seen any examples similar online to know a name for it. I want to received surgery to fix the appearance.

I advise my patients to avoid contact sports for 6-8 weeks and non-contact sports for 2 to 3 weeks following otoplasty. Boxing, kick boxing and wrestling represent special situations since the ears can suffer significant trauma with these sports. 5 years is very sufficient.
