Each plastic surgeon will have their own protocols for stratifying and managing blood clot risks for patients.If you’ve chosen a plastic surgeon then you should ask him or her. If you have not chosen a plastic surgeon and then you should discuss this during the consultation.Personally I have no problem doing procedures with patients on birth control unless there are other blood clotting risk factors.Best,Mats Hagstrom
You need to discuss this situation with your surgeon as he/she will be the one determining if it is okay to proceed with surgery. Your surgeon is most familiar with the details of your surgery as well as your medical history. Generally speaking, it should be fine for you to proceed as planned.
